Ammunition Fires Up Venture Studio for Startups and Agencies
Atlanta-based creative agency Ammunition is throwing more than just clever campaigns into the mix—it’s launching a full-blown venture studio. Dubbed Ammunition Ventures, the initiative aims to give early-stage startups and creative agencies a much-needed boost, combining up to $500,000 in capital and agency services per investment. The plan? Select two to three strategic partners over the next year. This hybrid model doesn't just offer support—it takes equity in exchange for branding, digital strategy, and creative production.
The studio focuses on two core groups: consumer product companies that need help scaling, and emerging agencies that need infrastructure and senior-level guidance. Ammunition’s 40-person team will take the lead on creative and operational efforts for these partners, acting as both an investor and a growth engine. For consumer brands, that means direct access to Ammunition’s services; for agencies, it’s about mentorship, network access, and back-end support to help them punch above their weight.
CEO Jeremy Heilpern frames the studio as an evolution of the agency’s entrepreneurial DNA. With Ammunition’s past work rooted in sectors like home goods and building products—and expanded into verticals like insurance and healthcare—it’s bringing hard-earned insights to bear on the growth-stage grind. The venture also builds on its 2023 acquisition of Emmy-winning production shop Mad Hat Creative, rounding out its capabilities for companies needing more than just cash to grow.
