Klarna: AI, AR, VR to power the future of shopping

Global payments and shopping service Klarna has released data that reveals AI, AR, VR, and robots are likely to support and dominate the future shopping landscape.

The data showcases that AI (artificial intelligence) is set to be leveraged to support shopping and fashion choices, with 81% of Gen Z respondents expecting AR (augmented reality) to enhance their experience. Additionally, the next generation of shoppers is also prepared to let robots take their measurements. 

The data reveals how retailers will have to adapt their offering to gain shoppers in the future, as AI, AR, and robots are believed to be prevalent both in the in-store and online landscape, with shopping services of the likes of Klarna having already integrated AI personalisation into their products.
